My vision for the future of the members in District 2 and for the Florida Association of REALTORS as a whole is that 2009 will mark the resurgence of a vibrant real estate market in the State of Florida.   Brevard and Volusia counties are comprised of some of Florida’s finest real estate including ocean and river front, cosmopolitan communities and properties capable of supporting almost every life style or commercial venture.  Our bounty is not well enough known in much of our country or in foreign countries whose investors look to America as a safe and lucrative opportunity. District II should lead the resurgence of Florida’s market as a result of new competency and skills learned by our members during the slower period leading up to 2009.  And I believe that the Associations that comprise District II should benefit from joint training, education and cooperative marketing that will support our common goal.
